Our mission is to grow organic, nutrient dense food while serving our ecosystem.
Grass Fed Beef
Our beef is grass fed and grass finished, humanely raised and harvested. The texture, flavor, and nutrient density of our meat is apparent when handling each cut or ground beef patty. Growing grass fed beef allows us to incorporate more perennials into our farming system, and keep farm nutrients cycled back to the land.
Grains
We proudly grow USDA certified organic grains for human consumption. From planting to harvest, and storage to end user, we take pride in handling and distribution. Each grain field gives benefit to the next crop that follows in our synchronous crop rotation.
Over the course of our lifetime, we hope to grow a self-sustaining farm that promotes biodiversity, involves people, and leaves the land better than we found it.
Consulting
With Luke Peterson taking over the main operation decisions for A-Frame Farm, I have more time to spend visiting, sharing and consulting. I share my 45 years of certified organic farming with many of you who keep in touch with questions and ideas about organic farming, including day-to-day crop management practices and marketing advice.
